4 What is Digital Storytelling?
A story that is digital digital stories usually contain some mixture of computer-based images, text, recorded audio narration, video clips, and/or music “short, personal multimedia tales told from the heart.” Daniel Meadows these stories can be created by people everywhere, on any subject, and shared electronically all over the world

5 The 7 elements of Digital Storytelling
Point of View: What is the main point of the story and what is the perspective of the author? A Dramatic Question: A key question that keeps the viewer's attention and will be answered by the end of the story. Emotional Content: Serious issues that come alive in a personal and powerful way and connects the audience to the story.

6 The 7 elements of Digital Storytelling
The Gift of Your Voice: A way to personalize the story to help the audience understand the context. The Power of the Soundtrack: Music or other sounds that support and embellish the story. Economy: Using just enough content to tell the story without overloading the viewer. Pacing: The rhythm of the story and how slowly or quickly it progresses.

7 The Center for Digital Storytelling
This organisation found its roots in the 1970’s/80’s. Since 1998, the Center for Digital Storytelling has worked with nearly a thousand organizations around the world and trained more than fifteen thousand people. The Center for Digital Storytelling has transformed the way that community activists, educators, health and human services agencies, business professionals, and artists think about the power of personal voice in creating change.
