Students will be evaluated by the preceptor for the rotation using a 5-point Likert scale in the following areas: Case presentations Professionalism and ethics: reliability / responsibility response to instruction / feedback self-directed learning (knowledge and skills) patient interaction / ethical boundaries / cultural sensitivity working relationships

Students will be evaluated by the preceptor for the rotation using a 5-point Likert scale in the following areas: Data gathering: Initial history / interviewing skills Physical / psychiatric examination skill Oral presentation

Students will be evaluated by the preceptor for the rotation using a 5 point Likert scale in the following areas: Medical Knowledge: In general Relating to patients Management skills: procedures

6 Student Evaluation of Clinical Rotation Site
Students will evaluate each rotation site using the following instrument. A sample is below.

7 Student Evaluation of Preceptors
Students will have the opportunity to evaluate each preceptor using the following instrument. The evaluation instrument is comprised of 11 questions and an open area for additional comments and suggestions for improvement. A sample is on the next slide.
