With the data protection it can also been used to keep information safe when you opt-in information to others by giving others the option to receive the information that you are giving them. When reporting an incident you need to make sure what the incident is that you are recording such as a specified injuries of a worker within a company. To do this you need to report this to an employer or someone who has control of the premises. Fromm here they will record the incident by putting it in a record book of all incidents then from here the work that is injured will receive medical attention and then taken time of work. From here they need to note down how long they will be of for to recover and when they should be back to be able to work again.

The policy 5.3 is about accident reporting where they have to report any incidents that happen within the college and investigate what has happened. This affects the college because it keeps all incidents that happens in the college under control so that no one can harmed even further.

The policy 5.5 and and is about the security of premises within the college where is points just what needs to b done within each facility with the procedures that have to always be done and as well making sure that line mangers do there job to make sure that the college is fully secured with things locked and away where they needs to be. This affects us because it gives us a guide of what get done around the college and how it is kept clear for us to use and put back so the college is fully secured.
The policy is about portable electrical apparatus within the college where they need to be tested all the time to make sure they are safe to use in the college. This affects us because it reminds us that only certain things that are brought in need to be pat tested to be used in the college.
