5. Faneuil Hall Marketplace
In 1742 Peter Faneuil built Faneuil Hall
Home to merchants, fishermen, meat and produce sellers, and provided a platform for the country's most famous orators.
Faneuil Hall was expanded in 1826 to include Quincy Market

6. Franklin Park Zoo
The Zoo was founded in 1912 and was managed by the City of Boston until 1958
