1 The following training presentation is for all employees and is taken upon joining the company team. Quality Management System (QMS) Training Proprietary - Revision N2: 8 April 2016

2 Learning Objectives Understand the Quality Policy, Quality Objectives and your role and responsibility in assisting the QMS headquarters to achieve them. Understand your responsibility for each of the processes. Acquire the ability to obtain and use process documents and forms from the QMS website. If you have forgotten your password please contract your supervisor, project lead or program manager.

3 The Quality Policy We are committed to providing outstanding service and deliverables that meet our customers’ expectations. this will be accomplished by maintaining a quality management system (QMS) that assures consistency of process, involves all team members, and includes continuous improvement of our products and processes.

4 The Quality Management Scope
Providing program management and professional services to government and commercial clients to include: Information Technology, Engineering, Training Development, Instructional Support and Advisory and Assistance Services.

5 Quality Objectives Maintain a score of 7 or higher on each Customer Feedback Form question Contract deliverables will be completed in accordance with the contract specific standards and QMS Deliverable Requirements. 98% of all submitted proposals are found technically acceptable by the customer.

6 Processes Contract Proposal Development Contract Management
We use 5 Processes With Procedures Underneath that outline our QMS. Each of these areas is monitored and measured according to the Internal Audit schedule: Contract Proposal Development Contract Management Contract Execution Customer Feedback Human Resources Quality Management Corrective Action, Preventative Action, Continuous Improvement (CA, PA, CI) Internal Audit Management Document And Records Control Purchasing

7 1. Contract Proposal Development
You may perform analysis on a proposal or you may be asked to write or provide technical input on a proposal. Your role in Proposal Development is to provide input when it is requested by management.

8 2. Contract Management The Contract Management Process contains 3 procedures which make up the process as a whole. They are: Contract Execution Customer Feedback Human Resources

9 2.1 Contract Management – Contract Execution
You have a direct role in executing the contract on which you are assigned by creating client deliverables per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Contract documents. Your role in Contract Execution is to ensure all deliverables meet the standard for delivery each and every time.

10 2.2 Contract Management – Customer Feedback
Your role in Customer Feedback is to record and notify the Quality Control Manager, Program Manager or Project Lead of any feedback you receive from the client at anytime, both positive and negative.

11 2.3 Contract Management – Human Resources
Your role in Human Resources is to ensure all your certifications and resume are filed with Program Manager or Project Lead to validate you meet all contract qualification requirements.

12 3. Quality Management The Quality Management Process contains 3 procedures which make up the process as a whole. They are: Corrective Action, Preventative Action, Continuous Improvement (CA, PA, CI) Internal Audit Management

13 3.1 Quality Management – CA, PA, CI
Your role in Correction Action, Preventive Action and Continuous Improvement (CA, PA, CI)is to notify your Program Manager or Project Lead if anything is wrong (corrective action needed), if anything can be done better to prevent a needed corrective action (preventative action needed) and if you know a way things can be improved upon (continuous improvement action needed).

14 3.2 Quality Management – Internal Audit
Internal Audits are completed on a quarterly basis by the Quality Control Manager to verify that the QMS is being followed and conformance to the contract requirements. All issues are be reviewed by management. Your role is to know the following: The Quality Policy and how you support it. The ways in which you can assist in achieving the quality objectives. How to obtain information on the QMS Website.

15 3.3 Quality Management – Management
Management Reviews are held on a quarterly basis by Senior Management and they review all of the QMS processes, procedures, objectives and also verify that the QMS is being followed and conformance to the contract requirements. Your role in Management is to attend any reviews you are requested to attend and provide input.

16 4. Document & Records Control
You can find every form you need to execute your contract on the QMS Website. The process explains how we record every formal business and deliverable document. Your role is to use the most current procedures and forms to accomplish your tasks and meet the QMS requirements.

17 5. Purchasing We purchase “services” from other companies. You may work on a PTLLC contract with a teammate employee. When we work with another company we “purchase” their services. Your role is to work as a team on the contract effort no matter what teammate company sits beside you.

18 QMS Registration Audits (External Audits)
Each year National Quality Assurance (NQA) visits the offices to conduct an External Audit. The auditor will talk with various employees and may call you (see the next slide for more information)! These audits are important and we must follow our own QMS to maintain our ISO registration. The ISO Certification helps us during the bidding process as most Government contracts now require a Quality Control Plan (QCP).

19 What Do I Need To Know? You need to know the following:
Know the Quality Policy, where to find it and how you support it. Know the ways in which you can assist in achieving its quality objectives. Know how to obtain information on the QMS Website. Know that everyone is responsible for ensuring quality and that the roles are defined in the procedure section of each QMS process available to you on the QMS website.

20 The QMS Website Go to the website and ensure you have access…this is required of all employees. The QMS site can be found at under the employees tab. If you have forgotten your password please contract your supervisor, project lead or program manager.
