9 Reap at a Different Time than we Sow
1. Patience Danger: Do God’s Work without God Galatians 5:16-17 I say then, walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh. These are in opposition to one another…

10 Reap at a Different Time than we Sow
1. Patience Key: Wait for God’s Timing Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11 To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven…He (God) has made everything beautiful in its appropriate time.

11 Reap at a Different Time than we Sow
1. Patience Difficulties = Opportunity to Learn Patience James 1:2-4 …count it all joy when you fall into diverse temptations, knowing that the trying of your faith develops patience. But let patience perfect its work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

12 Reap at a Different Time than we Sow
1. Patience 2. Perspective Short-Term versus Long-Term Genesis 25:29 Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field and he was famished. So Esau said to Jacob, ‘Please feed me some of that red stew, for I am famished’…Then Jacob said, ‘First sell me your birthright.’ Esau said, ‘Look, I am about to die; of what use is the birthright to me?’ So…he sold his birthright to Jacob.

1. Patience 2. Perspective Good Seed Time - Eternity 1 Timothy 6:17-19 Command those who are rich in this world that they not…trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who richly gives us all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

15 Reap at a Different Time than we Sow
1. Patience 2. Perspective Good Seed Time - Eternity Matthew 6:19-20 Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. 16 Reap at a Different Time than we Sow
1. Patience 2. Perspective Bad Seed I Got Away with it? Ecclesiastes 8:11-12 When a crime is not punished quickly, people feel it is safe to do wrong. But even though a person sins a hundred times and still lives a long time, I know that those who fear God will be better off.

17 Reap at a Different Time than we Sow
1. Patience 2. Perspective Bad Seed I Got Away with it? Psalm 37:7-9 Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Stop being angry! Turn from your rage! Do not lose your temper—it only leads to harm. For the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.
