5 Wood screws Used to hold wood joints together.
Come in many different length and gauges. Can have a pan-head or round head to hold pieces together better. Countersink head to push screw below the wood. Raised for aesthetic purposes

6 Lag screws Are heavier duty screws to fasten wood. They are usually coated to resist corrosion and add strength.

7 Metal Screws Used to fasten through metal.
Are self-tapping which means they don’t need a hole to be pre-drilled through steel. Used for attaching steel siding to buildings.

8 Concrete Screws The concrete screw is a special type of screw specifically designed to tap its own threads into a pre-drilled hole in a variety of base materials including concrete, brick and block.
