1 GOD REJECTS SAUL MEMORY VERSE: “And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord hath rejected thee from being king over Israel” (1 Samuel 15:26). TEXT: 1 Samuel 15:1-35

2 GOD REJECTS SAUL Many years after Israel return from Egypt, God remembered the evil that the people of Amalek did to them. They attacked the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt on their way to Canaan.

3 GOD REJECTS SAUL The Amalekites joined the children of Moab to fight Israel. They thought God had forgotten. God is a God of justice. Whenever we do something bad and nobody rebukes you, do not think that God has not seen you.

4 GOD REJECTS SAUL God remembered what the Amalekites did and asked Samuel to inform Saul to go and totally destroy the Amalekites including their animals. Saul must not spare anybody there. Saul answered God’s call for the assignment, but did it in his own way.

6 GOD REJECTS SAUL He did not kill Agag the king of the Amalekites
He was covetous and took everything that was good and destroyed the bad ones. He feared man. He lied to Samuel that he wanted to use the animals for sacrifice.

7 GOD REJECTS SAUL He was rejected by God.
He became mentally sick and died in battle with his son.

8 GOD REJECTS SAUL God hates disobedience, either in the lives of adults or children. Do you always obey the word of God? Make Jesus happy with your life of obedience so you will not be rejected at the end. You are to obey the word of God.

9 GOD REJECTS SAUL Sinners must obey God by repenting and turning away from their bad ways. Child that repents will have favour with God live with Jesus in heaven at last.
