1. 4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
 1 Blessed are those        who do not walk in step with the wicked        or stand in the way that sinners take        or sit in the company of mockers,
    2 but who delight in the law of the LORD        and meditate on his law day and night.
    3 They are like a tree planted by streams of water,        which yields its fruit in season        and whose leaf does not wither—        whatever they do prospers.
    4 Not so the wicked!        They are like chaff        that the wind blows away.
    5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,        nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
    6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,        but the way of the wicked will be destroyed.

4. If you buy a Hebrew servant, he is to serve you for six years
If you buy a Hebrew servant, he is to serve you for six years. But in the seventh year, he shall go free…if he has a wife, she is to go with him
Do not ill-treat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt
If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest
Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest and the slave born in your household, and the foreigner among you as well, may be refreshed

5. Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong
Let no one be found among you who practices divination, or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. They are detestable to the Lord
If two men are fighting and the wife of one of them comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and seizes him by his private parts, you shall cut off her hand. Show no pity.

8. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful (Joshua 1:8-9)
