2. We are made for mission
God wants us to have a ministry to believers and a mission to the world
We are all missionaries (sent ones)
John 20:21 Matthew 28:19,20
We used to just please ourselves but now we want to please God. We are made for mission.

3. The mission is … To go into all the world … And preach the gospel …
Make disciples of all nations …
Baptise them …
Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you …

4. The shared part is … We work together to share the gospel and
make disciples in this neighbourhood
To the people in the YWCA, YMCA, apartments, offices, hotel, police station
To the people in Queen street
To international students who come to Auckland
To friends, family and contacts

5. We also work specifically
To share the gospel and make disciples
among our friends, family and contacts where the church family does not reach
School or university
Workplace
Our circle of friends

6. The importance of our mission
It is a command – “Go!”
It is Christ’s mission on earth – “seek and save”
It is a privilege – “Christ’s ambassador”
It is the greatest expression of love – “life”
It has eternal significance – “eternal life”
It gives your life meaning – “for such a time…”
