3 The standard today III. Provisions concerning sizing
To ensure uniformity in size, the range in size between produce in the same package shall not exceed: a) For fruit sized by diameter: - 5 mm for “Extra” Class fruit and for Classes I and II fruit packed in rows and layers, - 10 mm for Class I fruit packed loose in the package or in sales packages.

6 The proposition I. Definition of produce or in any type of sales units
This standard applies to tomatoes of varieties (cultivars) grown from Solanum lycopersicum L. to be supplied fresh to the consumer, tomatoes for industrial processing being excluded. Tomatoes may be classified into four commercial types: • “round” • “ribbed” or “beef tomato” • “oblong” or “elongated” • “cherry” tomatoes (including “cocktail” tomatoes). or in any type of sales units
