Imago used to be just a collection of 2D images from the Herbarium…but now we’ve integrated more complex metadata schemas to allow for multiple bitstream works in Imago and will soon incorporate the IIIF universal viewer which will facilitate in-frame page turning for books and PDFs, zoomable tiled-viewers for ultra high resolution 2D imagery, and dynamic 3D object viewers.
