Annual CPES to continue
Access to Specialist Nurses to be extended
Cancer support workers in secondary care
CNSs in GP practices
National comprehensive needs tool to be agreed for over 75s
By 2020 all patients have access to results online

9. Transform approach to living with and beyond cancer.
Recovery package rollout accelerated.
All patients to have access by 2020.
Stratified care for follow up to be in place for all common cancers.
National quality of life measure to be commissioned
CCGs must commission appropriate End of Life care.

10. Investment
Replace all LINACs older than 10 years and upgrade all older than 5 years.
Molecular diagnostics to be nationally commissioned.
Workforce planning for shortages in Radiology, Radiographer, Endoscopy, Clinical and Medical Oncology, CNSs for treatment and care.

11. Overhaul of commissioning.
Establish ‘Cancer Alliances’
Commissioners to take patient experience into account in decision making
CCG dashboards are quality measure based
Review how cancer services are commissioned
