2. Since a rich father wanted his son to know what it means to be poor, he took him to spend a few days with a farming family.

in the countryside.

As he was returning to the city, while still in the car, the father asked, "How was your experience?"

11. 6 - We listen to CD's...They listen to a perpetual symphony of birds, crickets, and other little animals...

12. ...sometimes, all of that is accompanied by the song
of a neighbor, working his land.

an alarm to protect ourselves...
They live with their doors practically open,
protected by their neighbors' friendship.

15. 9 - We are always connected to our cell phones, computers and televisions. They are "connected" to life, the sky, the sun, water, the countryside, animals, shadows, and to their family.

18. Every day our observation of nature, which is God's great work, lessens.

19. We worry about HAVING, HAVING, HAVING, AND HAVING MORE EACH TIME,
instead of worrying about "BEING".
