2 Gone with the Wind First published in May of 1936 and won the Pulitzer Prize in 1937. Set in Georgia during the Civil War and Reconstruction, the novel tells the story of Scarlet O’Hara. The movie, based on the novel, was released in 1939 starring Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh.

3 “Nothing Gold Can Stay” by Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold Her hardest hue to hold. Her early leaf's a flower; But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief, So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.
