Our mission is to make the library of Alexandria at the center of world of science. This is being accomplished with the establishment of the 1.1 million network, a free exchange of scientific PowerPoint presentation, and establishment of the BA Serageldin Research methods library. By being at the center of research methods, we will be at the center of science, and have a major impact to improve science in developing countries.

The first major component of our effort has been to knit together largest number of scientists to work together to improve research, training and human rights for scientists.

Over the past 20 years we have created a global network of scientists at the Library of Alexandria of 1.1 million scientists.

We have build the largest collection of powerpoint slides that anyone can use for free in creating their own lectures for teaching and presentation. One of our lectures has been seen by 50 million people.

We have a major team in Nigeria. Musa Kana created a Just in time lecture on Ebola with in days after the outbreak.

12. Fear of Statistics and not having research methods books to learn
We have argued that perhaps the biggest problem in developing countries is stataphobia. Most scientific articles are turned down because of poor statistics. There are few eople trained in statistics in the developing world, and even fewer text books on statistics.
