7. The blacks were treated unjust and, were treated badly
The blacks were treated unjust and, were treated badly. The Logan children felt the injustice that the whites were doing upon the blacks. When the rain was falling the whites school bus would always splash the Logan's.
The Logan kids dig a ditch to stop the school bus from splashing them. The bus broke so the Wight kids had to walk like the black kids.

8. While Big Ma is visiting the office of Mr. Jamison, trouble-making T. J. convinces the other children to go ahead and do some shopping. In a store, the clerk waits on white customers and ignores Cassie.
Cassie yells at him but then leaves with out finishing.

9. The bank wants the Logan's lone money asp.
Uncle Hammer sells his car and pay of the lone.

10. T.J got hurt him and his family and they wont stop hurting him.
Mr. Logan burned some of his land so they can stop hurting T.J and his family. Both blacks and Wight turned of the fire

11. Foreshadowing
When Cassie saw the car at night, and 2 men came out then left.
When T.J comes to Cassie and dose not say what's wrong right away.
