2 Origin and History of Halay Dance
•Halay is a folk dance hailing from Turkey’s eastern, South- Eastern and Central Anatolia regions . •The Halay folk dance rolex replica sale has been around since the beginning of the Assyrian Empire.

The Halay was traditionally only danced by men at wedding ceremonies, but it is now used in other celebrations as well. The dance had presence in ancient Assyria, and also in Hittite regions of central Anatolia Most popular folk dance of Turkey and It has a rich figure structure of simplicity, which is the symbol of creation and originality of the folk. A Turkish theory states that the "halay" Line dancing symbolize the migratory nature of Turks, always on the move throughout history.

Halay, being one of the most famous folk dance Turkey, has won immense popularity amount the Turks and Armenian immigrants within the US. It is also seemed to have gained popularity within many different educational and dance institute. Halay has definitely added some assets in the multicultural diversified population of the US.

8 Body Movement, Style and Music
A group of dancers form a line or a semi circle, holding each other’s hands, arms, or shoulder and circle during the dance; it has very different forms from simple figures to the most sophisticated. Body movements is very rhythmic, and is generally based on a stiff standing pose and a quick bending of the knees. The rhythmic elements of halay dances are very rich and are mostly performed with drum-zurna combination with other folk musical or performed when folk songs are sung.

9 COSTUMES AND IMPORTANCE
Both men and women wear very bright colorful traditional costume. In general women costume is rich with ornaments, especially their head is covered and ornamented with jewels kerchief with embroideries and light shoes or yemenis are widespread. The importance of the dance is to preserve and spread the Cultural Identity of the Turksh.

10 Conclusion Dance is cultural identity: a way of connecting with other people. Ability to thrive Metaphysically U.S. -melting pot has altered and changed many cultures forming a national culture that is infused with the evolution, acculturation, and assimilation of many diverse cultures. The newer generations of Turkhs and Armanian, like those in the U.S. are dichotomy of ancestral roots and their own tradition and cultural roots as part of a globalizing world.
