The Phantom Eye is an unmanned aerial vehicle designed for military surveillance, reconnaissance, and communication applications. Three major design guidelines include: High altitude - 65,000 ft. Long endurance - 4 days. Liquid-Hydrogen powered. Autonomous take off via launch cart. Autonomous landing using landing gear. Boeing Phantom Eye UAV

6 total test flights. Most recent in mid December, 2014. Longest flight: 5 ~30,000 ft. First test flight experienced failure in landing gear.
