Motown had teams of song writers like Holland,Dozier& Holland and more
Because of the written music Motown needed trained music that could read music

4. Funk Brothers The house band for Motown was known as the Funk Brothers
Skilled and trained jazz musician that could play whatever was given to them
The Funk Brothers helped to define the Motown sound

5. Artist Development Motown searched for raw unknown artist
Young talent was brought to Motown and taught by Artist Development how to sing, talk, walk, dance and present themselves in popular
