3. This is a continuation of our Topic:
Do you know the LORD.

4. Knowing the LORD does not end. His attributes and qualities do not end.
God is infinite and that’s why we can not
run out of goods things to say about Him.
God never runs out of answers and blessings for His people.

5. We are going to look into 3 characteristics
of our awesome God.
He is Above all gods, no other gods.
His is our Helper.
He Directs us.

6. I MAJESTY OF THE LORD 1. He is Above all gods, no other gods.
Our God is not one of the gods in this world. He alone is God.
Ps 77:13 Your ways, O God, are holy.
What god is so great as our God?
1Ch 29:11 Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; You are exalted as head over all.

7. Jer 10:10 But the LORD is the true God; He is the living God, the eternal King. When He is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure His wrath.
Jer 10:11 “Tell them this: ‘These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.’ ”
Jer 10:12 But God made the earth by His power; He founded the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding.
Jer 10:13 When He thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from His storehouses.

8. II ATTRIBUTES OF THE LORD
1. His is our Helper.
When you come into trouble…
When your need arises…
When things do not come your way…
When you have exhausted all your ways and means…

9. To whom shall you GO?
Ps 121:1 I lift up my eyes to the hills— where does my help come from?
Ps 121:2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Ps 121:3 He will not let your foot slip— He who watches over you will not slumber;
Ps 121:4 indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

10. Ps 121:5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
Ps 121:6 the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.
Ps 121:7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life;
Ps 121:8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore

11. III ACTS OF THE LORD 1. He Directs us.
Our greatest mistake is when we decide on our own without His guidance…
When you let God to start moving and deciding for your life everything falls in the right place. Blessings follow after blessings so that you may proclaim His greatness and love.

12. Pr 16:1 To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the LORD comes the
reply of the tongue.
Pr 16:4 The LORD works out everything for his own ends— even the wicked for a day of disaster.
Pr 16:33 The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD.

13. Ps 37:23 If the LORD delights in a man’s way, He makes his steps firm;
Ps 37:24 though he stumble, he will not
fall, for the LORD upholds him with His hand.

14. Lesson for Today We are serving a True Living Awesome and Only God.
This Awesome God is our Helper.
This Awesome God Directs us.
