Short Devotions Time Young Adult Devotions

Journey to the Table Journey to the Table is a new offering from the tradition of Walk to Emmaus and Chrysalis specifically designed for ministry with young adults, ages It is available to camps, churches, campus ministries, Annual Conferences, Walk to Emmaus or Chrysalis Communities, and other organizations interested in offering a spiritually formative experience for young adults.

What’s in Journey to the Table?
To accommodate schedules of college students or young professionals, the program is shorter than Emmaus or Chrysalis. It includes 24 hours of instructional and worship time. The schedule is divided into seven schedule blocks. These blocks can be delivered in order, in any combination that works best for each location. For example: a community that wants to run a retreat weekend-style schedule, could start at 6:00pm Friday evening, and conclude by 4:00pm Sunday afternoon (not counting team preparation time beforehand). A church could schedule two half-days on weekends (2:30pm – 9:00pm), with three evenings in between (6:30pm – 9:30pm) if staying overnight is inconvenient. …or any other combination of the seven schedule blocks that works best!

The Talks The talks spend less time in a lecture mode and include different activities to make the learning more experiential and relational at the tables. Identity, Parts 1 & 2 Balancing Life Studying and Growth Relationship With God and Others A Love that Strengthens Priesthood of All Believers Christian Action Perseverance and Commitment Make a Space
