1. Where do we find the written story of God’s plan of salvation?
The Bible
Each Testament must be read in the context of the full story.
To understand the New Testament, is is not enough simply to read the Gospels and the Epistles.
We must know the story of the Old Testament because it is within this context that Christ came to fulfill his salvific mission.

2. With regard to evolution, the Creation account in Genesis affirms that:
God created out of nothing;
Human beings are a special act of creation made in the image and likeness of God, unique from the rest of creation;
All humanity descended from Adam and Eve;
They were created without sin, but in disobedience, fell into a condition of sin and weakness;
God promised a redeemer.

3. The way God brings us into His family is through a covenant
A covenant is made by :
1) the swearing of an oath, and
2) a mutual exchange of persons: “I am yours, and you are mine.”
This is different from a contract, in which you just exchange property or say, “This is yours and that is mine.”
A contract makes people business associates, but a covenant makes people family.
