5 16  On the morning of the third day, thunder roared and lightning flashed, and a dense cloud came down on the mountain. There was a long, loud blast from a ram’s horn, and all the people trembled. Exodus 19:16 (NLT)

6 are not ten suggestions!

7 The Commandments are very Prescriptive Guidelines, that if heeded would serve as protective boundaries for God’s people.

9 15 "See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil, 16 in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess. Deuteronomy 30:15-20

10 19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; 20 that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, Deuteronomy 30:15-20

11 for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them." Deuteronomy 30:15-20

12 5 Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. 6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words which you shall speak to the children of Israel." Exodus 19:5-6

13 5You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5

14 9 …you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; 10  who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:9-10

15 Exodus 23:20 He promised to send an Angel before them to keep them on the path that led to the place He had prepared for them.

16 John 14:16 The Father will send you a Helper, the Holy Spirit. He will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

17 Hebrews 1:14 Are not the angels now ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

18 Exodus 23:25 He promised to bless their food and drink and to take sickness away from their midst.

19 Luke 12:27-31 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you,

20 Luke 12:27-31 O you of little faith? 29And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. 30For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. 31But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

21 I give unto you That ye love one another;
as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34

22 Jesus demonstrated this by washing the disciples feet.

23 Do you know what I have done to you?
John 13:12 Do you know what I have done to you? John 13:14-15 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you. Romans 12:20 (NLT)

24 Do not think to highly of yourself, be honest in your estimate of yourselves, measuring your value by how much you serve the Lord in faith. Believing what the LORD told you, that when you serve the least of His children, you are serving the LORD. Romans 12:3, Matthew 25:40

25 How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live
2 Corinthians 6:14 HONORING How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How can light live with darkness.

26 2 Corinthians 6:17 HONORING Therefore come out from among unbelievers, and separate yourselves from them, says the LORD. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.

27 1 Peter 3:9 HONORING Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.

28 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12:21 HONORING Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

29 Matthew 6:1-4 HONORING Do not parade your good deeds before men, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven.

30 Matthew 6:1-4 HONORING When you give to someone in need, don’t do as the hypocrites do—blowing their own horn in church and in public places to call attention to their acts of charity! I tell you the truth they have received all the reward they will ever get.

31 Be merciful and your Father
Luke 6:36 HONORING Be merciful and your Father will be merciful to you!

32 Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Matthew 6:14 HONORING Forgive and you will be forgiven.

33 HONORING Give and it shall be given unto you.
Matthew 6:14 HONORING Give and it shall be given unto you. For with the same measure that you use, It will be measured back to you.
