One of the slides used at the Touro Interprofessional Teams Clinical Competition (TIPTCC) held at Touro University California in March Students from 3 colleges (Osteopathic Medicine, Pharmacy, Health Sciences) on 13 teams were directed to select the medical error from among the items on the slide. The percentages of teams selecting each item (shown to students after all teams made their selection and the correct selection was revealed by the arrow) are shown on the left. Item 4 is the medical error, because the resident should have ordered magnesium citrate, a laxative, not magnesium sulfate. This slide has been altered for graphic enhancement only.
