2 The Yeoman "This Yeoman wore a coat and hood of green, and peacock- feathered arrows, bright and keen" The Yeoman is a servant who accompanies the Knight and the Squire. The narrator mentions that his dress and weapons suggest he may be a forester-at home he probably takes care of the forests on the Knight's land, protecting them from outlaws and making sure nobody tresspasses in them

3 Importance of the Quote & Physical Characteristics
This quote is very important because it explains the physical traits and characteristics of the Yeoman. It helps the readers better understand the character and create a visual image of him in their minds. The Yeoman's physical characteristics: Dressed in a green hood/coat Short hair Brown face suggests he spends a lot of time outdoors Carries a bow and arrows, a dagger, and a sword.

4 My thoughts about the character
The Yeoman is good at his job. He keeps the forest in tip-top shape. He is also very organized and neat. He does everything exactly the way it should be done and always fully completes the task at hand.

5 The Guildsmen "Their wisdom would have justified a plan; To make each one of them an alderman." An alderman is a noble serving the king as a chief officer in a district or shire. The Guildsmen consists of five men that appear as a unit. English guilds were a combination of labor unions and social fraternities: craftsmen of similar occupations joined together to increase their bargaining power. All five Guildsmen are clad in the livery of their brotherhood.

6 Importance of the Quote & Physical Characteristics
The quote is important because it shows how all five of the guilds men think highly of themselves. They want to be become more and have more power. Physical characteristics: The Guildsmen consist of a haberdasher, a dyer, a carpenter, a weaver,and a carpet-maker. They wear fancy clothes and are financially well . They are treated like royalty.

7 My thoughts about the characters
The Guildsmen seem like very stuck up and snobby people. They think highly of themselves and don't care about the people in lower classes
