4 An Earth Day The Earth completely revolves on its axis in 24 hours.

5 An Earth Day A Lunar Month
The Earth completely revolves on its axis in 24 hours. A Lunar Month The moon orbits the Earth in 29 ½ days

6 An Earth Day A Lunar Month A Solar Year
The Earth completely revolves on its axis in 24 hours. A Lunar Month The moon orbits the Earth in 29 ½ days A Solar Year The Earth orbits the Sun in 365 ¼ days.

7 In the time it takes the EARTH to orbit the SUN once, the MOON orbits the EARTH about 12 times.
This is why our calendars have 12 months in a year.

8 An Earth Day A Lunar Month A Solar Year
The Earth completely revolves on its axis in 24 hours. How do we account for the HALF day in the lunar month, and the QUARTER day in the solar year? First, our CALENDAR year is rounded down to 365 days. Then every FOUR years, one day is added to the calendar (February 29). (4 × ¼ = 1) A Lunar Month The moon orbits the Earth in 29 ½ days A Solar Year The Earth orbits the Sun in 365 ¼ days.

9 To account for the extra HALF day in the LUNAR month, the number of days in a CALENDAR month is manipulated.

10 Seven months have 31 days: (January, March, May, July, August, October and December).

11 Four have 30 days: (April, June, September and November).

12 One month has 28 days (February).

13 7 × 31 = × 30 = 120 1 × 28 = 28 365 days

14 The 7 day WEEK is God’s invention.
NATURE establishes the guidelines for measuring a DAY, MONTH and YEAR. But there is one measure of time that has no correlation to natural events: The 7 day WEEK is God’s invention.

15 Seven consecutive days make one week.
It has been this way since the week of Creation.

16 Genesis 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

17 Each week concludes on the seventh day, the Sabbath.
Exodus 20:9-10: 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God …

18 Then a new week begins. Matthew 28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

19 But God does not only count DAYS in units of seven.
Sabbath But God does not only count DAYS in units of seven.

20 Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS,
Sabbath day Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS,

21 Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS,
7 consecutive WEEKS make a WEEK of WEEKS. Leviticus 23:16: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath [at the end of seven weeks] shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.

22 The Jewish festival season spanned 7 months or a WEEK of MONTHS.
Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS, 7 consecutive WEEKS make a WEEK of WEEKS. 7 consecutive MONTHS make a WEEK of MONTHS. The Jewish festival season spanned 7 months or a WEEK of MONTHS.

23 Every seventh year was a Sabbath of rest for the land.
Sabbath Year Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS, 7 consecutive WEEKS make a WEEK of WEEKS. 7 consecutive MONTHS make a WEEK of MONTHS. 7 consecutive YEARS make a WEEK of YEARS. Every seventh year was a Sabbath of rest for the land. Leviticus 25:3-4 3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; 4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.

24 Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS,
7 years 7 years 7 years 7 years 7 years 7 years 7 years Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS, 7 consecutive WEEKS make a WEEK of WEEKS. 7 consecutive MONTHS make a WEEK of MONTHS. 7 consecutive SABBATH YEARS make a WEEK of SABBATH YEARS. A week of SABBATH YEARS is 49 years (7 × 7). The 50th year was a year of Jubilee. Leviticus 25:8 and 10: 8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years. 10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you …

25 Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS,
10 years 10 years 10 years 10 years 10 years 10 years 10 years Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS, 7 consecutive WEEKS make a WEEK of WEEKS. 7 consecutive MONTHS make a WEEK of MONTHS. 7 consecutive SABBATH YEARS make a WEEK of SABBATH YEARS. 7 consecutive DECADES make a WEEK of DECADES. Psalm 90:10: The days of our years are threescore years and ten [70 years]; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

26 Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS,
1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years Just as 7 consecutive DAYS make a WEEK of DAYS, 7 consecutive WEEKS make a WEEK of WEEKS. 7 consecutive MONTHS make a WEEK of MONTHS. 7 consecutive SABBATH YEARS make a WEEK of SABBATH YEARS. 7 consecutive DECADES make a WEEK of DECADES. 7 consecutive 1,000-YEAR DAYS make a WEEK of MILLENNIUMS.

27 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years 1000 years This week is not directly stated in the Bible. It is shrouded in mystery. Psalm 90:4: For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. 2 Peter 3:8: But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

28 From paradise to paradise, all the events of the Bible fit into a period of 7,000 years, a Week of Millenniums.

31 Our calendar works in a similar way.
In the 6th Century, a monk named Dionysius designed a timeline in which AD 1 was established as the year Jesus was born. Years before AD 1 were called BC or before Christ. AD 2000 refers to a year two thousand years after Christ was born BC refers to a year years before Christ was born. AD 1 is like “middle C.” The middle C is Christ.

41 The Week of Millenniums
Part One Measuring Time The “Middle C” Adam and Noah

42 The story of the Bible begins with the life of ABRAHAM, the father of all who believe.
Everything that happens before the time of Abraham is an INTRODUCTION to his story.

43 The Week OF MILLENNIUMS
Days 1 and 2 are the PREHISTORY of Israel. The first 2,000 years of Bible history are covered in the first 11 chapters of Genesis. These two 1,000-year days center on the lives of two men:

44 Day Day 2 ADAM NOAH The life of Adam – and the first 1,000 years of history – is told in Genesis chapters 1 to 5. The life of Noah – and the next 1,000 years – is told in chapters 6 to 11.

45 Genesis is a book of Generations.
The first two millennial days contain the generations of Adam, the generations of Noah, and the generations of the sons of Noah.

46 DAY ONE: The Generations of Adam (Adam to Lamech)
Genesis 5:1-27 1 This is the book of the generations of Adam.

47 DAY ONE: The Generations of Adam
Genesis 5:1-27 1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; 2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. 3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: 4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: 5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. 6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos: 7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters: 8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died. 9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan: 10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters: 11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died. 12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel: 13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters: 14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died. 15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared: 16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters: 17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died. 18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch: 19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died. 21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. 25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech: 26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters: 27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

48 The Generations of Adam conclude with Lamech, the father of Noah.
Genesis 5:28-31 28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son: 29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed. 30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters: 31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

49 Next, the Generations of Noah:
Genesis 5:32 32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Genesis 6:9-10 9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

50 The Generations of the Sons of Noah
Genesis 10:1-32 1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. 2 The sons of Japheth … (verses 2 to 5) 6 And the sons of Ham … (verses 6 to 20) 21 Unto Shem also … (verses 21 to 31) 32 These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

51 The Generations of Shem (Shem to Terah, the father of Abraham)
Genesis 11:10-25 10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: 11 And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 12 And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah: 13 And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. 14 And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber: 15 And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters. 16 And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg: 17 And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters. 18 And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu: 19 And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters. 20 And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug: 21 And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters. 22 And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor: 23 And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. 24 And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah: 25 And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.

55 The Week of Millenniums
Part One Measuring Time The “Middle C” Adam and Noah Our Covenant God

56 OUR COVENANT GOD Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

57 TWO KINDS OF COVENANTS CONDITIONAL: I will keep this promise IF you keep my command. UNCONDITIONAL: I will keep this promise.

58 God made covenants with ADAM and NOAH, each man representing all humanity.
The first two covenants were made in Eden. The first was made BEFORE Adam’s transgression, and the second AFTER.

59 The EDEN Covenant (Conditional)
Genesis 1:28 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 2:15-17 15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Adam broke this covenant with God and was expelled from the garden.

60 The ADAM Covenant (Unconditional)
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee [Satan] and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. The promised ‘seed of the woman’ was Christ.

61 After the flood, the NOAH Covenant (Unconditional)
This covenant ensured man’s dominion on Earth, reinstating those things that were lost when Adam broke the Eden Covenant.

62 Genesis 9:1-2, 8-13 1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, 9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; 10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. 11 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. 12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: 13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

63 In Days ONE and TWO God’s covenant were inclusive to all humanity.
Starting in Day THREE, his covenants would be exclusive to a particular people – his CHOSEN people – he called Israel. The God of all Creation would now be called the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

64 UP NEXT: The RISE and FALL of Israel: Abraham to Solomon; Solomon to the rejection of Christ.
