How big was the sample, was it representative?    R – Reliability - Can this study be replicated? Would we get the same results again? How good are the controls? A – Application - Do the findings of this study suggest any practical applications? Is it relevant to real-life situations?  V – Validity – Internal: Is this study measuring what it says it is measuring? Are the results accurate? External: Are the tasks required of the participants natural? Is the setting natural or artificial? Ecological? Population? E- Ethics - Has this study adhered to ethical guidelines? Informed consent, Right to withdraw, Debrief, Deception, Protection of participants.

Generalisability – Sample details (unrepresentative) Reliability? Applicability – superordinate goals especially Validity This is a field experiment (still seen as controlled) Identify IV and DV Why can you argue high internal validity? Examples? Low validity? Ethics – any ethical concerns?
