Grieving God God is grieved because he cares (John 3:14-16)
Sin separates us from God, because he is holy (Isa. 59:2; Psa. 5:4) Gave his Son to heal the separation, yet many reject him Feel the same grief over sin as God (II Cor. 7:8-11) Sin is so common, it’s easy to forget how terrible it is When we are grieved by our sins as God is, we will be motivated to repent and please God

Grieving God Don’t grieve God
By rejecting God’s invitation to be saved (Matt. 23:37-38; Rom. 10:21) By returning to sin after being freed from it (Eph. 4:30)
