2 CDPC’s functions and tasks
To collect, summarize, process and analyze the statistic information about public health and social healthcare To coordinate the implementation of health promotion events on the national and regional level To inform social groups about issues, that influence health and a healthy lifestyle

3 The registration of data started in 2005
Registry of patients that suffer from certain diseases, but have also received an injury or wound (Injury registry, PREDA*) The registration of data started in 2005 Cabinet Regulation No. 746, adopted on the 15th of September 2008, “Procedures of establishment, updating and maintenance of a registry of patients who are ill with certain diseases” The data is provided by treatment centers and entered into the system online Registers patients, who have requested emergency medical care at a treatment center because of a trauma, injury or poisoning The information is being coded accordingly to the European Injury Database (IDB) coding manual Included are ICD-10 diagnose codes from S00.0 – T78.8 *CDPC registry's unified computerized information system.

Registry of patients that suffer from certain diseases, but have also received an injury or wound (Injury registry, PREDA) Personal data (sex, age, etc.) Treatment process (examined, received treatment, admitted to the hospital etc.) Has the person been under the influence alcohol, narcotic/psychotropic substances or other intoxicating agents? The place where the incident occurred (home, school, transport zone, etc.) Type of injury (open wound, fracture, etc.) and the injured body part (head, torso, etc.) Diagnose ICD-10 (S00.0 – T78.9) Mechanism of injury (human collision, etc.) Cause (accidental, intentional self-harm, violence) What has caused the injury, object of injury The perpetrators relation with the victim

11 The definition of violence
Recommendations for diagnostics of possible violence against a child (what kind of information should be obtained, indications that can signify that a child may be suffering from emotional, physical or sexual violence) Course of action for general practitioners in case of reasonable suspicion about domestic violence

12 Workshops in injury prevention for nurses, who work at a general practitioner’s office
In 2016, one workshop – 100 educated nurses Two workshops planed in 2017 – educating no less than 120 nurses

13 Prevention of bulling «Kathrina» and «Robert»
Short films about bullying in schools and the internet «Kathrina» and «Robert» Recommendation material for educators

14 Lessons to promote empathy and respectful attitude
Goal: to develop children understanding about human emotions and specifics of perception in an interesting and interactive way, promoting a respectful attitude, empathy and successful communication. Implemented 4 lesions for 5th-7th graders.

15 Health promotion guidelines for local governments
Events for reducing violence for different age groups: Preschool and school children; Adults and families; Elderly; Specialists.
