Oops, Your Manners are Showing!
Parents, We are pleased to announce that we will be offering an exciting opportunity for boys and girls in grades 1st thru 3rd Grade. Manners are a vital skill that is needed to promote better relationships between family, friends, and people in the community, now and in the future. We will be teaching a manners class from December until May. We will meet the 1st Monday of each month from 3:15 -4:30. We will cover some of the following topics through out the year: Why manners matter Magical Words Conversation Skills Eye Contact Handshakes Thank you notes Smiles Introductions Table Manners Communication Skills How to use grown-up titles Posture Students will need to wear appropriate attire each month. Girls should wear knee length dresses, closed toe dress shoes and white gloves (optional). Boys should wear dress pants, tie, and a sport coat. There will be a small fee that will cover the cost of the refreshments and a sit down meal at the end of the year. We will let you know the cost as soon as we finalize a location for the dinner.
