Today we will be learning about waves. By the end of the lesson you will be able to: Explain what physicists mean by waves, giving examples of each type and uses for electromagnetic waves (D) Draw a transverse and longitudinal wave and correctly label amplitude, wavelength and frequency, giving the appropriate units for each term where appropriate (S) Use key ideas about waves to explain why a candle flame moves when placed in front of a speaker (C)
