Null: That music and light color have no effect on goldfish growth performance and survival rate.
Alternative: Music and lighting have measurable effects on goldfish’s growth and lifespans.

5. Definitions Growth performance- how well the fish are growing
Survival rate- how well the goldfish live in the specific conditions
Acclimated- become accustomed to a new climate or to new conditions
Aeration- become accustomed to a new climate or to new conditions
Biometric- relating to or involving the application of statistical analysis to biological data
Anesthetized- administer an anesthetic to (a person or animal), especially so as to induce a loss of consciousness
Mortality- death, especially on a large scale

Goldfish were placed in holding tanks for 2 weeks
Goldfish were transferred to other tanks
Goldfish were exposed to treatments
Fed twice daily
