4 Alfred Wegener Have you ever heard of Alfred Wegener? Well if you haven’t, this is an amazing biography. This biography is about a German scientist who believed the continents were one big chunk of land at one time, but had no proof. This biography explains how his theory was accepted.

5 Alfred’s Strengths and Weakness
Alfred Wegener was a famous German meteorologist. He was famous for his theories, but one thing he lacked was proof when he said the continents were once one big chunk of land. He didn’t have proof to back his theory, so no one believed him. Video about Alfred Wegener

6 Alfred’s Strengths and Weakness
Finally, in 1950, his theory has accepted 30 years after he died. Another scientist backed up his idea, so his theory was finally accepted. But, what Wegener didn’t know was that he kind of had proof, like you could find some prehistoric animal on the western part of Africa and find the same animal on the eastern part of South America! Video about Alfred Wegener

7 A Video on Continental Drift

8 Proof Dinosaurs roamed on the upper tectonic plates about 3,000,000 years ago. There were no oceans, just small seas so they found dinosaur bones in that area.

9 Another Video About Continental Drift

10 Conclusion Now that you know the facts, we hope you understand more about how Earth is always changing. We hope that you liked the slide show. Thank you for watching.
