Macbeth carries out the murder and it is discovered by Macduff. Macbeth’s guilt starts to get to him. Duncan’s sons think they will be blamed for his death. Macbeth has Banquo killed and is haunted by his ghost Macbeth revisits the witches and they show him three apparitions Fearful of the witches apparitions - Macbeth has Macduff’s family killed Lady Macbeth goes crazy and kills herself Macbeth and Macduff fight – Macduff kills Macbeth

6 Plenary. Just a minute… Number yourselves 1 and 2
Number 2 retell the story of Macbeth in 1 minute to your neighbour. Swap roles number 1 take over and retell the story again – filling in any gaps that number one missed out.

7 Homework Must: Devise a 10 question quiz that will test the knowledge of someone in the class on the events of Macbeth. Should: Use a memory technique to memorise the plotline of Macbeth, bring evidence to next lesson. Could: Create a storyboard/comic/graphic novel on the plotline of Macbeth.
