IT Sligo had strong heritage and capability within Civil Engineering.
Key Objectives:
Address identified skills deficits via a QQI accredited programme.
Utilise IT Sligo’s online delivery mode
Incorporate workshops
Plan to develop programme to Masters level with EI accreditation
Funding 80% DTTAS; 20% LAs

3. Programme Development
30th Sept 2014: Official collaboration launch.
19th Nov 2014: QQI programme validation.
Jan 2015: First intake of 30 learners.
Dec 2015: First group completes course.
Feb 2016: Exam results ratified
