2 THE UNIVERSITY Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti established in 1982 as Obafemi Awolowo University. Started with 135 pioneer students 38 academic and 96 non-teaching members of staff. Now accommodates over 20,000 regular students spread across 11 Faculties, academic Institutes and Directorates.

3 The core values of the University include the following:

Admission over-subscribed Improved staff and student discipline Regular attendance of lecturers and students at lectures Timely release of examination results Examination misconduct was a rarity Falsification of results and forgery of certificate was hardly heard of. The University produced highly competitive graduates. Prompt submission of draft minutes. Timely communication of decisions reached at meetings Requests for transcript were promptly attended to POSITIVE IMAGE

6 ADMISSIONS In the last three years, the University has not been able to meet its admission quota. The table below shows the percentage of admission in the last three sessions.
