6 What's included? Basic IT requirements & familiarisation - dedicate at least 2 sessions -SMART card, Pathweb, mock patients Meeting and understanding roles of the practice team Community clinics? Trainer session(s)

7 Trainer session Basics of how GP session runs- timings and arriving early to check bloods/ s/ tasks How to navigate the IT system from a clinician perspective Practice policies on referrals( acute, routine, FT)

E-portfolio requirements- are trainee and trainer linked? OOH planning QOF Enhanced services Prescribing policies Protocols ? Practice intranet

9 Trainer session Sitting in sessions- Other GPs / practice nurses/ nurse practitioner Encourage trainees to think early on about consultation Home visit shadowing x 2
