2 How To Repent “Unless you repent, you shall all likewise perish.”
More holiness give me, More strivings within, More patience in suffering, More sorrow for sin, More faith in my Savior, More sense of His care, More joy in His service, More purpose in prayer.

3 How To Repent 1. Choose to Follow God’s Way
Galatians 5: (the works of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit) John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it more abundantly.” John 15:11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”

4 How To Repent 1. Choose to Follow God’s Way
Psalm 119:1-2 “How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord. How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart.” Can you imagine how much better your life would be without the burden of sin?! What keeps you from the abundant life?

There are tremendous blessings that come with a life that is focused on walking with God. Psalm 23:1-2 “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.” Talk to God when things are going well... Talk to God when things are NOT going well…

6 How To Repent 2. Spend Much Time with God
Hebrews 4: “For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.  Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

7 How To Repent 2. Spend Much Time with God
Ephesians 6: Wrap yourself with these riches of God: truth, righteousness, peace, faith, prayer… 2 Peter 2:9 “The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation.” 1 Corinthians 10:13a “No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faith- ful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able…”

Psalm 1:1-3 “Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. Whatever he does prospers.” 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be deceived; bad company corrupts good morals.”

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 Take every thought captive. Ephesians 4:27 “Neither give place to the devil.” Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.”
