4. What events have changed your life?

5. Joseph comes from Serere, Eastern Uganda.
He has had to cope with a lot of rejection in his life. When he was born, his parents abandoned him before being persuaded to take him back.

6. By age 10 his mother had left and his father had died, Joseph was living with his stepmother. Then one night, she chased him away with a knife. He ended up living on the streets of Kampala.

7. Some years later, Joseph returned to Serere
Some years later, Joseph returned to Serere. He found his Uncle who gave him some land to farm.
At the same time, he searched for the rest of his family and brought them to live with him.

8. Then Joseph began volunteering with PAG as a driver.
Whilst driving around he began listening to the PEP Bible studies.
He found himself changing, finding new hope and meaning in life.

9. This change allowed Joseph to forgive his stepmother and welcome her into his home.
Soon after, he met Mary. They were married and now have three young children.

10. Today Joseph runs a successful Roof Tile business, he also owns a Turkey farm with more than 500 birds. He is so grateful for what God has done in his life.
