The red line corresponds to the 100% prescription isodose line (in this case 50Gy delivered in 5 fractions) and conforms tightly to the tumor target volume outlined in black. The yellow line corresponds to the 60% isodose line (in this case 30Gy) demonstrating rapid dose fall-off. The central darker red line represents an intended “hot spot” (in this case 62.5Gy which represents the 125% isodose line) for enhanced cell kill at the tumor's more resistant hypoxic center.
