2. HABITAT
Hedgehog live in the wild in Europe, Asia and Africa. Some live in the desert others live in the forest. Some hedgehogs are pets and some work in gardens eating bugs. Hedgehogs live almost everywhere from deserts to woods and rocky plains. They even are found in backyards and inside houses.

3. DIET
Hedgehogs eat small invertebrates such as slugs and earthworms. They occasionally eat the ground. The hedgehog eats
eggs of ground nesting birds. Damp grassland is the hedgehog’s favorite hunting ground. The hedgehog eats insects, including; beetles, caterpillars, snails, millipedes, earwigs, and bees. They also eat small mammals and birds.

4. BODYCOVERING
Hedgehogs are Britain’s only spiny mammal’ land maybe covered in up to 6,000 spines, which are brown with white tips. They have a short tail, and their under side is covered in coarse brown fur.
