Every day Goliath came and yelled. “if any man can defeat me we will be your slaves.
If I defeat your man you will be our slaves.”

David was sent off with some food for his brothers and to bring home news of how the battle was going.
Just as he arrived Goliath gave his mighty challenge. David expected someone to go and fight but they all ran away in fear.
