Come in and clear of your desk. Get out a pencil and a calculator. When I see that you’re ready, I’ll bring you a quiz. When you’re done the quiz, hand it in on the front counter, and collect a worksheet for today’s class, and get out some lined paper

Come in, get your Learning Logs and answer the following question: List 2 things you understand from this unit so far List one thing you’d like to understand better from this unit Get out a pencil and a calculator. Convert the percentage to a decimal. Multiply the total population of total value by the decimal value. OR Use a proportion, and cross multiply and divide. Total Population = ____________________ 100% Specified Percent

6 Solving Example Problems
With your seating plan partner: Answer the questions posted on the wall around the room together You should both be taking part in answering the questions Do not move on to the next question before you both understand how you got the answer for the question you’re currently working on
