I have learned a LOT about customer <3

customers fear change & that’s okay

they really want to see you’re a *real* human

a good way to do that is with pictures and videos

and behind-the-scenes info

they love (good) surprises

however…they don’t mind bad news— if it has an explanation

you have to show up consistently & sometimes engage with them 1:1

they love knowing you are their advocate

they love when you speak their language

…and appreciate their culture

customers want to be asked for their help

and they want to be acknowledged for their help

they want their world expanded

they like to be envied by others

as humans we love a bit of nonsense

more than anything, they want to belong to a tribe – your tribe

a symbol (or family crest) unites you

they want a f2f connection after knowing you online

they want to know your long-term plans involve them

…so let’s treat our customers with the same <3 as we give our teams customers too rely on us for their livelihood

Join our tribe: Insider.windows.com
