3. Contracts Department
The Contracts Department consists of five Contract Divisions which support our customer’s supply and service acquisition requirements. We also have an Acquisition Policy and Oversight Division for a total of five Divisions.
Three of the divisions support large contracting (022, 023 and 026).
Previously two division support acquisitions less than $150,000 (024 and 025). Currently, we have one division.
Divisions are customer aligned.
There are currently 65 Contracts personnel.

5. IHEODTD Service IDIQ Contract
This is a Tri-Service Engineering and Logistics $49M Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Multiple Award Contract vehicle used to supplement execution of Cartridge Actuated Device (CAD)/Propellant Actuated Devices (PAD) requirements. It is a 5-year contract currently in the 3nd year.
Three task areas: (1) Development and Qualification (D&Q) Support, (2) Ordnance Assessment (OA), and (3) Technical Consulting (TC).

6. IDIQ – Task 1 Development, Product Improvement and Prototyping Support and Qualification and Production Support
Requirements:
Capable to perform developmental and qualification processes for CAD/PAD devices and energetic materials
fabricate hardware and other components in support of development, PIP and second source efforts
Contractor shall be responsible for disposing of all energetic/explosive items

7. IDIQ – Task 2 – Ordnance Assessment or Surveillance
Requirements
capable to perform destructive, non-destructive and environmental tests
capable to perform statistical analysis required for the measured test parameters
Able to dispose of all energetic/explosive items and associated hardware upon completion of the task

8. IDIQ Task 3 - Technical Consulting
Some of the Engineering and Logistics support requirements:
engineering assistance with CAD/PAD development, qualification, technical studies, technical writing,etc

Following awards, contractors can bid on delivery (task) orders immediately
Typical delivery order award time is 60 to 90 days from submission of requirements documents by the Indian Head technical point of contact to the contracting office
Timely response from contractors to Request for Proposals (RFP) is critical to timely awards.
