According to Colton Burpo, who at 4 years old claimed to have been to heaven and seen Jesus.

began to share details about people and events he had never been told about prior to his surgery.
Colton told his parents that he had gone to heaven.

3. We Know Heaven Is For Real
Colossians 1:3-5 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; 5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, Do you believe Colton’s story?

4. What’s the issue? Where do we place our trust about Jesus and heaven?
Many view his story as validation and have hope.
The title implies “we can really believe.”
Do we need more evidence to truly believe?

5. Our hope and trust in Jesus and heaven should rest on God’s word.

6. Can we believe both accounts?
John 17: “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.

7. The problem believing both accounts
Colton claimed to have died, went to heaven and returned.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
His parents determined he had had a vision like Paul.

Paul was silent about what he saw and heard. These people have written 3 books.

8. The problem believing both accounts
Colton claims to have seen Jesus.

Colton describes Jesus as a handsome man.
