First round is a written test, top 50% advance to round two (50 MC questions in 60 minutes) Round two is a “spell-down”, much like a spelling bee, in which competitors are eliminated as they misspell words. 35 What if I don’t feel like doing the essay/extra MC questions?
YOU WILL LOSE. These can determine the difference between staying and moving on to States and/or Nationals They’re usually not that bad so just take the extra 5-10 minutes to do them!
