Numerator: Number of CTE Concentrators Who Left Secondary Education in the previous year and who took the required CTE technical assessment. Denominator: Number of CTE Concentrators Who Left Secondary Education in the previous year and who were in a program of concentration that had a required CTE technical assessments.

13 Technical Attainment Calculation

Numerator: Number of CTE Concentrators Who Left Secondary Education in the previous year and who passed a CTE technical assessment. Denominator: Number of CTE Concentrators Who Left Secondary Education in the previous year and who took an aligned CTE technical assessment. This is primarily the numerator from the Tech Skills Participation. There may be a small increase due to ‘optional’ technical assessments that were once on the Assessment Matrix.

Technical Attainment Grade incorporates both the Technical Skill Participation rate and the Technical Skill Passage rate. Based on the Technical Skill Participation rate the Technical Skill Passage either remain the same, is demoted one or demoted two letter grades. Test Effect Participation Rate Decrease of one letter grade <90% Decrease of two letter grade <80%

18 Technical Attainment Grade on Report Card-EXAMPLE
CTPD A Technical Skill Participation rate = 91.56% Technical Skill Passage rate = 83.25% Technical Skill Attainment Grade = B Test Effect Participation Rate Decrease of one letter grade <90% Decrease of two letter grade <80%

19 Indicators Met (this is a current year measure-not lagged)
