3 Connect2Compete WHY IT’S IMPORTANT Student access to technology at home is critical to a quality education and results in higher levels of academic success and increased future career opportunities. EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES: The majority of middle and high school teachers assign homework online. However, only 18% of teachers say the majority of their students have access to the digital tools they need at home. 71% of teens say the internet is their primary resource of school projects. Teachers often use to communicate with parents and post grades online.
